Ride Nation FAQs

Q: How do refunds work?

A: Refunds are the responsibility of the coach who is delivering the program. You will need to check the coach's terms and conditions for their refund policy.

In the instance you require a refund, you will need to initiate this directly with the coach.

Q: How does the pricing structure work? Am I able to charge whatever I want for my services?

A: Yes, you are able to set the price for your services. A fee of 3.2% +.30c will apply for every transaction. For example, if you were to offer your services for $50 your transaction fee would be $1.75, part of this money goes to our platform providers Marketplacer and part to bank fees – nb none of these fees are payable to CA.

Q: Can clubs use Ride Nation to promote races and events?

A: Essentially this platform is not for racing, however, we are happy for clubs to promote ride events that relate to general participation on the platform .

Q: Will Cycling Australia members receive emails promoting this new platform?

A: Current Cycling Australia (CA) members will play an important part of the marketing campaign, however, the marketing campaign will also be much broader to appeal to the non CA member audience that is interested in riding their bikes, but not necessarily racing. We also have a marketing partnership with BikeExchange, including banners on their site, inclusions on EDMs, etc which will be driving traffic across to Ride Nation.
